Parks


PAVILION RESERVATIONS

Pavilions at three parks are available to reserve: Barnes Park (located at 950 West 200 North) has two large pavilions, City Park (located behind the Library at 44 North Main Street) has one large pavilion, and Angel Street Park (located at 200 South Angel Street) has one large pavilion.  Boweries in other parks, and small boweries in Barnes Park and Angel Street Park, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are accepted at the Recreation Center beginning January 2 each year. The parks can be reserved for the period of May 1 through September 30. Cancellation with full refund of fees is accepted up to 72 hours of the reservation date.

Fees: 0-3 hours $15.00, 3-6 hours $25.00, more than 6 hours $35.00

Angel Street Pavilion is located in-between two playgrounds, has a built-in concrete serving counter, electrical outlets, 8 tables, and 1 barbecue grill.  This pavilion seats approximately 80 people.

Barnes Park Pavilion #1 is located close to the children's play area, has a built-in concrete serving counter, electrical outlets, 8 tables, and 2 barbecue grills. This pavilion seats approximately 80 people.

Barnes Park Pavilion #2 is located close to the sand volleyball courts, has a built-in concrete serving counter, electrical outlets, 8 tables, and 2 barbecue grills. This pavilion seats approximately 80 people.

City Hall Pavilion  has 14 tables, electrical outlets and seats approximately 120 people.

 

PARK RULES

Vehicles within the city parks are not permitted on lawns or sidewalks.

Animals (including dogs and horses) are prohibited in all city parks with the exception of the Mountain Park.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all city parks.

Please be prepared to provide your own toilet paper, electric bulbs, and cleaning material for use at all parks.



PARKS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY

Angel Street Soccer Complex (150 South Angel Street) - Five soccer fields, two playgrounds, one large bowery, seven small boweries

Barnes Park (950 West 200 North) - Two large and many small boweries, large playground, rest rooms, sand volleyball courts, softball fields, barbecue grills

City Park (44 North Main) - Large bowery, horseshoe pit, rest rooms

DATC Park (550 South Main) - Baseball/soccer fields

Gailey Park (200 South 300 West) - Covered picnic areas, large playground, baseball/soccer fields, rest rooms

Heritage Park (100 East 200 North) - Passive park with no amenities yet

Hess Farms Park (1625 South 550 East) - Bowery, small playgrounds, small soccer field

Hods Hollow Park (400 East 700 North) - small playground

Mountain Park (800 North 1400 East) - Vita exercise course and nature trails

Ponds Park (950 South 50 West) - Bowery, small playground, baseball/soccer fields, rest rooms

Ponds Park South (1000 South 50 West) - Baseball/soccer fields
