Kids Playing Tennis

Youth Tennis

Come learn the fundamentals of a life long sport. This program is offered to children ages 7 to 12 yeas old. Each session includes 6 (one hour) lessons where participants will learn the skills necessary to play tennis all while having fun! Class sizes are limited and are first come first serve. Participants will receive a Kaysville tennis t-shirt. Racquets are available if needed.

Ages & Times

Age division and times for June and July are: 

  • 9 a.m. - 7 and 8
  • 10 a.m. - 9 and 10
  • 11 a.m. - 11 and 12

Age division and times for August are:

  • 9 a.m. - 7, 8 and 9
  • 10 a.m. - 10, 11 and 12
  • 11 a.m. - 13, 14 and 15

Dates - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

  • June 4-15
  • July 9-20
  • August 1-18

Summer Tennis

Adult Tennis

The adult tennis program is designed for the beginning player or the player who has been away from the game for awhile. The course includes six one hour lessons, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at Kaysville's beautiful, new tennis courts. These lessons will give players the skills and confidence necessary they need to begin playing. Come join in on the fun, get some exercise, meet some new people and learn to play the sport of a lifetime! Ages 16 and up. All participants will receive highly coveted Kaysville Rec Tennis T-shirts.

Class Times / Dates

  • Wednesdays: 6 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9 a.m.
  • Session 1 - June 6-23
  • Session 2 - August 1-18

Instructors

Kelli (Youth Instructor)

Kelli started playing tennis at a very young age, and still plays competitively and for fun. She has taught tennis for 13 years for Kaysville Rec. She previously coached at two local high schools, for a total of 7 years. In her 13 years of teaching/coaching she has attended many tennis clinics and tennis workshops through the USTA. She loves the game of tennis and enjoys getting others involved in a such a great sport.

Mark (Adult Instructor)

Mark grew up playing tennis and is still very active in the tennis community. He plays competitively and for fun. He teaches, coaches, and is a huge tennis advocate locally, and state wide. He has previously coached local high school teams for over 12 years. He has been teaching tennis at Kaysville Rec for 10 years and has attended countless USTA clinics and tennis workshops. He enjoys sharing his love of tennis through his teaching.
