[ARCHIVED] Sandbags Available for Residents

Sandbags

Kaysville City is making sand bags available for residents. The free City-provided sandbags are intended for flood preparation. We are currently limiting Kaysville residents to 10 bags a piece. It is the resident’s responsibility to properly dispose of sandbags after use.

Sandbags may be obtained at the Northeast corner of Kaysville City Operations Center located at 721 West Old Mill Lane.

If more sandbags are needed, we will provide loose sand for resident to fill their own bags. You can purchase additional bags at Lowe’s or Home Depot for relatively low cost.

If you are currently or imminently going to be impacted by stream or creek flooding, we recommend obtaining sandbags from Davis County Public Works Department since creeks and streams are waterways serviced by Davis County Government. Davis County Public Works can be reached at (801) 444-2230. Their address is 1500 East 650 North, Fruit Heights.

Please call Kaysville City Public Works at (801) 544-8112 with any questions or to immediately report flooding. Our after-hours number is (801) 299-7733.
